bloodwrage, i feel many a IAB member my hate me, but i think the big lebowski is the biggest overated piece of cinema garbage ever to become a cult classic. personally, i believe that the only reason this movie is so big is because some people love it and the rest just say they love it as to seem cool. there are a few other movies i place in this category, but this is definitely toward the top. |

It's true it does seem that the older the comic gets the less funny they become. Hell Eddie Murphy would be more famous dead (for a week), Chevy Chase has reverted back to a suburban DC town and Chris Rock better do something funny quick but that's not what this kid does. He's an actor and he's a damn good one. I think he'll get plenty of years out of that sad sack loser part he's perfected and he'll do it with a bit of natural built in funnyness. |
