For somebody calling themselves "The Thinking Atheist" they haven't exactly educated themselves in Christian beliefs. So many of the things here are so off the mark it's offensive.
God blames us personally for the death of his son and for the original introduction to sin? Seriously?
This video should be called "An ignorant Atheist" not "Crazy Christians" |

liked it for the Swiftian sarcasm, and I get the point they are trying to make. Yes, Christianity is diverse, but this video pretty much only included the core beliefs that are shared among most of the denominations. Sometimes it's good for people to look at what they believe from a different angle. It makes you think! Trying to silence these viewpoints or discredit them only makes you look like you are afraid to think. |

Huh... I clicked this link to see a silly westboro church-style movie and instead I just watched a satirical Christian beat down. This is just asking for a caps-lock-fueled rage.
@Ogen - You sure are mad about that Jesus thing, aren't you? I'd say it is our fault Jesus died. God says it's our fault that Adam ate the apple, Adam eating the apple is what condemned us to hell, and Jesus died to save us from going to hell because of Adam eating the apple which is our fault, so therefore it's our fault Jesus died. |

This is absolutely wrong. I watched this thinking that Christians made this, based on the title of the posting. Sure some Christians are seriously crazy, but I could say the same thing about the Atheists.
This should be titled crazy Atheists, because they are the ones who made this video.
Religion is not at fault for the flaws of humanity. It is just one aspect of our war-like nature. One excuse for hate.
But it also could be looked at as a reason to love. It isn't about the religion itself, it is about the individuals and how they choose interpret the religions teaching. Some use it as an excuse to kill, or act out the violence inside themselves.
But that doesn't make religion wrong, and nothing could make this video right.
Christians don't say "it is your fault that Jesus died." To claim such a thing is just ignorant and stupid. Nor do they call new babies worthless. Its all so misleading. |

this is really bad theology. no wonder there are so many atheists. i wouldn't believe in this god, either.
please, please, please read and study as many christian theology books as possible before letting yourself be tricked by superficial assumptions.

*yawn* That's nice. It appears some people aren't Christian and don't believe in the Christian doctrine. Who would have thought? This video really opened my eyes to the fact that some people disagree on things that neither side can prove. That was the video's point...right? Did it have a point? |

Who's jamming any beliefs? The video simply (and accurately) portrays the beliefs of the Christian religion. Us atheists that are commenting are simply rebutting the arguments of a few that have decided to comment on the tenets of atheism. |

Crazy, crazy stuff. You know you could believe that bullshiz, or just live your life being a good person, rather than apologise for killing someone you didnt kill 2000 years ago when you wern't alive.
The only logical conclusion I can come to is Christians (and probably members of most other religions) are insane! |

Rhasputin- Thank you for pointing out that this was not the production of Christians. (Not that many other productions are any better.)
Fivezones- I was just wondering the same thing. It's not that we aren't willing to get a laugh at everyone's expense here at IAB...just that the Christians are apparently a crowd favorite. |
