Saturday, July 31, 2010 6:34:20 PM BTW Turkey was a refuge for Jews escaping the Spanish inquisition and for a while recently they've been considered pro-Israel. |

Saturday, July 31, 2010 6:23:53 PM I give you: Turkey 99% Muslim. If they hated Christians so much how come the Hagia Sophia is still standing? |

Saturday, July 31, 2010 6:18:17 PM Cajun - take a look at every single Muslim dominated country in todays world - they ALL have a hatred for Christians (and Jews) which leads to horrible discrimination, including kidnapping, rape and forced conversation of Christian girls; burning of churches; killing. IAB doesn't show anti-muslim links because they are afraid of the violence muslims engage in on a daily basis against freedom of speech. |

Saturday, July 31, 2010 5:50:59 PM (and ever smealt for that matter) Don't get me wrong I'm perfectly aware of the explosion of Christianity in China. But don't ignore the crap they've been giving the Falun Gong and the Tibetans for a long while now. |

Saturday, July 31, 2010 5:49:06 PM @CrakrJak 15th century Japanese: Actually it would be the 16th and 17th centuries. In any case this would be the exception to the rule. If anything it's more of a mixed story compared to what happen in Rome. Regardless an overwhelming majority of Japanese still identify themselves as followers of Shinto (the native religion). muslim and atheists I've been hearing this and the vice versa, quite frankly both cases are a load of crap. What I've heard thus far are atheists who openly mock Christianity and religion in general. Then there are those atheists who just mind their own business and when the opportunity to convert comes they turn it down (not without some insisting). When it comes to Muslims, the only Muslims I've seen being hateful towards are Qutbists, Taliban, and Al Qaeda. If you are saying that ALL Muslims are oppressive towards Christians, that is a Fallacy of Composition and quite the biggest load of crap I've ever heard. |

Saturday, July 31, 2010 5:31:23 PM How can any rational human being believe in god? It's a fairly tale, like santa, except with god people don't admit they made him up once you get older. |

Saturday, July 31, 2010 5:30:18 PM @Heureux This is exactly my view on it. I'm not religious but I have no hate for religion. Most atheists just can't accept other peoples views, which is exactly what they hate about religion. This type of atheist is a total hypocrite. Atheists still define themselves by wither or not they believe in god. So in reality, its a system of belief wither they define it as such or not. I'm part of the South Park sect of belief here. If you watch the episode Go God Go they express their beliefs on atheism pretty damn well. @Maps Its not. And also. I know about original sin. I've studied a lot of religions in my life. Christianity more than most. A lot of Christians believe it as a myth meaning that everyone hurts others, and everyone sins. Some believe it more literal. Everyone is allowed to believe as they will. But when someone starts being prejudice and believing themselves to be better than others, thats what I have a problem with. |

Saturday, July 31, 2010 5:20:53 PM making kids want to kill themselves, and if your god dumps his guilt onto you, says he loves you through child molesting men, never has any proof he exists, he sounds like an a-hole |

Saturday, July 31, 2010 4:57:54 PM Heureux: I agree, There has been a lot of persecution of Christians yet it's still growing. The Roman emperors tried to kill all the Christians as did The 15th century Japanese, 20th century Russians and Chinese, and now the 21st century Muslims and Atheists. Instead of killing it, In the end, Their hatred of it has helped it spread. |

Saturday, July 31, 2010 4:48:57 PM "Some one needs to kill religion, it is a thorn in the side of mankind." The statement above is proof that atheism is a prejudice, and its only premise is hatred for most of humanity. Religion is the accumulated experiences of most humans beings, to kill religion, one would have to either kill, or completely oppress, most human beings. East Germany was a test run, that led to some of the worst human rights violations in history. |

Saturday, July 31, 2010 4:42:54 PM God does not hate us for 'original sin' nor for 'killing his son', Seriously, That's garbage and contradicts the bible. If God hated us why would he have sent his only son down to earth to save us from sin ? Jesus gave his life willingly, His love saved us. The lesson being that we are to love one another as God loves us. Matthew 22:36-40 |

Saturday, July 31, 2010 2:11:27 PM @Steve17 The reason why god has not brought another flood, is because according to the Christian doctrine, god promised after the first flood that he would not flood the entire earth ever again, which he represented in a rainbow.

Saturday, July 31, 2010 2:04:44 PM OR You could simply take an easier route, by accepting that other people have different viewpoints, opinions, likes, dislikes and personalities; live life the way you wish it to be, surround yourself with positive and encouraging people, and do what makes you and others happy, without imposing on the lives and happiness of others by behaving in a fair, modest, and pleasant manner. Life's full of bullsh*t. Life's too short for bullsh*t. Do yourself and others a favor...cut the sh*t. |
