I wouldn't want a porcupine as a pet. You'd hafta keep it in a cage to keep it from snuggling with you at night, which I think is a disgusting thing to do to your pet... and you'd never be able to snuggle or kiss it. They're better in the wild. |

I've never see an adult porcupine kept as a pet before! In high school, my friend had one, but it was just a little one. It was really playfull andfriendly, though. |

Slotherder: How would you know if they could or could not interbreed ? Other than some prickly attempts at a zoo, I seriously doubt any scientist has really investigated it (artificial insemination, etc..). |
