i live in crosby and those statues are not creepy in anyway they are just annoying mostly, as you cant do anything on the beach anymore like quad biking or things like that, and also the beach is never empty, even at night. |

The sunken statue is part of "Another Place", a permenant exhibit by Antony Gormley. It's actually 100 of those statues scattered across 2 miles of beach in Crosby, England. I've been, it's very cool but creepy. You keep expecting them to come to life. An empty beach full of people, some half stood in the sea etc.
