I once heard that people tend to hang the paper the way they're built: men over the top, women underneath. I've seen the theory proven wrong, but I still think it's funny. |

I agree with bridog, it's stupid to care about things like which side the salad fork goes on. I hold my food for cutting with a fork in a sort of a dagger position, facing downwards. Assassination on the steak.

I honestly don't think I've ever given it a second thought, and I just throw the new tp roll on however which way it ends up.
But I do know that under is the "proper" way, if you care about such stupid things like which side the salad fork goes on. |

My brother always makes it be under. We banned him from replacing the TP (at best he can put the roll on top of the holdy thing, but he isn't allowed to put it on!). |

This is bullsh*t, under is right. The free sheetage view doesn't even matter cuz you're gonna have to take more to wipe anyway. The holding point is higher in real life, you grab it, push up and use leverage to tear it clean, whereas most of the time when it's over and you try to tear it it just pulls out more and you gotta use two hands... |

Which ever way the toilet paper roll is oriented after you fumble with the damn spring loaded missle, and finally manage to cram the whole contraption back together. That is definitively correct. |

Also sometimes poo will get on your underwear if you don't wash and it can smell sometimes, especially if it's the extra soft poo that takes a billion wipes to get rid of |
