Your free will is meant to be used once: in giving it up to follow God's will. From then on you try to do what God's will is.
Right from wrong is taken both LITERALLY from the Bible and from the Holy Spirit which guides your steps and serves as you consciouns (misspelled, all well, you get the point).
Being a better person is NOT what gets you into Heaven, what get's you into Heaven is believing that Jesus is the son of God and having a relationship with Him.
And last, but not least, the Bible attains to all situations, you just need to find the right part. If you can't find what is relevant, there is the Holy Spirit to guide you and |

Like it or not, that is exactly like the bible god is. According to the bible, the only reason that someone will burn in hell for all eternity...is simply for not believing. I did not write the book and before one of the sheep tells me that there is a special way to read the bible... just forget it. |

@DDJ: religiosity in the U.S. varies greatly by region. The South the most religious place in the United States (the Bible Belt). The Midwest is also fairly religious. Historically, the Pacific Northwest has been the most irreligious region with a far lower belief in God and poor church attendence (the Unchurched Belt)than any other region though now New England probably has that distinction. |

That may be true about Europe, but what appears to be asserted by media and trolls is not that all true about the states. Vast majority of people in the USA could not give a rat's ass about the neighbors views. They are too busy just like Europeans with their own day to day problems. If your a secularist moving in next door. More than likely your gonna find an EV, Mormon, Muslim, Atheist etc... as your neighbor.

I think this has everything to do with doubt. YoungOola was not just throwing in his two cents to defend his own beliefs. He claimed that the maker of this video doesn't know anything about Christianity and seemed clearly distraught considering his word choice.
What I'm saying is that this animosity is brought about by doubt about one's own beliefs (something everyone has) and instead of taking this doubt and negatively reflecting it outwards he should address it.
The video was a fun poke at Christianity. Making light of something many people take seriously. Someone comfortable with their religious beliefs would understand this. |
