Tuesday, July 06, 2010 3:00:42 PM @ RoboPatton: too bad the cameras aren't pointing the other way showing the police (not) running in to stop & arrest these buttholes. Instead they were busy trampling & clubbing people sitting defenseless on the ground singing "Oh Canada". |

Tuesday, July 06, 2010 11:51:27 AM I wish a camera was pointed the other way, so you could see all the asshats not lifting a finger to stop this punk. I think I would have sucker punched him in the back of the head. |

Tuesday, July 06, 2010 8:35:17 AM I thought everybody already knew that the Black Block is a bunch of privileged , bored and delusional kids who love to be on TV , look cool , playing revolutionaries and really have no clue about how things work . I would watch more footage of the riot police taking them them , but they run away too quickly and there's not much. |

Tuesday, July 06, 2010 7:52:52 AM Montebello, Quebec, August 2007. Outfits change, police tactics don't. 1.2 Billion, with a "B," on security (so far) and "security" could not stop these people from destroying property? As for the police themselves. How did they recruit police from other departments to come assist during this event for overtime? How were they picked? Was it a don't-ask-don't-tell policy? Police are a union in the end. |

Tuesday, July 06, 2010 6:37:08 AM @aseirinn - At the same time you too need to accept that they could be aliens, beamed from another planet, to incite violence that would eventually wipe out the human race leaving earth clear for them to come and stay. Or, more plausibly, you could accept that the guy in the photo is *most likely* an idiot. |

Tuesday, July 06, 2010 6:34:13 AM If you have any compelling evidence that such a thing happened, then show me. Otherwise, I have no reason to believe it. Why the heck would the police do that anyway? The black bloc is clearly capable of making themselves look bad. If police were imitating the black bloc, SOMEONE knows about it, in fact I'm sure many people know about it, and I'm positive it would have come to the surface. Your theory is as stupid as 9/11 being an inside job. |

Tuesday, July 06, 2010 6:13:40 AM the fact that most everyone on here has already decided that protesters are idiots is a sad inditment of our society, there was a time when protesters were respected for getting out of there houses away from theyre tv's/telly...The police have been infiltrating protests for years, inciting riots and violence...Look at the caption, from an IAB'r that cant see past the lies told to him on his 6 o clock news...we will never know if the guy in the pic is a 'cop' but it's worth noting that at least he could be...By agent provocatuers operating at G20 meetings causing mayhem-this in turn creates fear for reasonable people that will not turn out and support the protest at the next one and so on and on...until everyone is 'afraid' to protest...

Also, take off your tin foil hat. None of the violent protesters were police officers. you have no proof of that nor do i...so the possibility remains...there were thousands of peacful protesters there...it'd be nieve to think that they was no infiltration, in my opinion... |

Tuesday, July 06, 2010 4:11:46 AM Black Bloc irony. Black Bloc leader: Hey guys, let's overthrow all government. To do so, all we need to do is join together in a militant fashion, utilizing organized rank structure and violent scare tactics in order to manipulate the greater population and its corporations into submission. Minions: Yayyyyyyyy! Black Bloc leader: Oh, and allow me to point out that by doing so, our anarchist organization becomes no different than the government we just overthrew! Minions:... ... ... ...Yayyyyyyyyy! |

Tuesday, July 06, 2010 3:00:52 AM Wow, another "pummeling" assault on the protests with a funny twist, huh. Let's assume those clothes and gear cost the same everywhere; who is assuming they didn't just borrow it, buy it somewhere cheaper, or perhaps steal it? Since when do sport sneaker cost 112 bucks? I'm pretty sure you can purchase them for 1/10th of that price if you buy it from much less renowned brand of shoes. That jacket doesn't even look like a leather one. I might be mistaken, but it looks more of a raincoat to me than anything else. Who says those are "ski" goggles? And, for all we know, those numbers might be well exaggerated or as much as inexistent on a universal scale. I doubt these prices are anywhere near the average price. |
