I have a pet red-eared slider turtle, and he's just a baby and nowhere near that size, but he does that snapping thing too when held. The trick is to hold him near the back so that he can't reach anything to bite. Turtles just don't like interacting with humans in general... they're very skittish. But they're sweet animals, just nervous ones. Poor turtle in this video was probably terrified. D: That reporter's an idiot for holding it like that. XD |
