What the drat? I seriously do this with my dog almost everyday my dog gets excited and jumps up on me so I hold his arms...is this really worth being on the internet? |

Wrong. Standard poodles (like these) are good family dogs and very easy going with the kids. As far as them being bitches? No - the standards are similar in build and size to dobermans. The misconception of these being wimpy dogs comes from that French haircut (that and their popularity in France led to the term 'French poodle') but they originated in Germany.
As for the toy and miniature poodles...well, drat them, they're just yippy snacks for bigger dogs. |

another dog, propped up behind the woman, with its head resting on her lap. the flash from the camera reflects in a similar manner when it hits cat eyes, so I assume dogs have the same effect. |
