I believe that in the year 2048, we will be at war with the machines, win by a slim margin and witness the whole world collapsing inwards at the North Pole. A sign will pop out saying "Loading Level 2. Please Wait..."

Then we get a whole different set of problems and a fresh Earth to deal with. Our score would be medium, because we conquered the robots and kept just enough people alive, but the Earth we were supposed to protect took some quite heavy damage. Unfortunately there's a huge cut scene and then we go straight into Lv. 2, so we can't turn down the difficulty setting :(

I wonder what Level 2 will be like...?

he might make it by 2050... but then, the tranformer wars of 2025 might make it pointless..... or reality? well, you asked if a fictional character was coming back?

can we have the return of Thor instead? i like him as a "born on dec 25" heliocentric diety anyway....
or maybe horus, ya, i liked the horus story better than the jesus one!

"haha i wonder what a conversation would be like between jesus and a computer? and if the computer was intelligent enough to be self-aware, would jesus try to save it's sould?"

If I remember right the bible says only humans have souls (so no other animals, plants etc do if we follow this) which would bean a Ai computer wouldn't either I guess if you follow the Bible?

Ten bucks says we get a terminator vs Raptor Jesus showdown. I'd pay to see that.

Sure, go ask people not living in the suburbs, see what they think. Statistics are so much fun when they're so very lame.

davymid: IF that's your way of saying your afraid of Theocracies, I can understand that.

Saying your afraid of a leader that's a Christian fundamentalist is just paranoid. Seriously, We don't bite.

"Bad things can happen when religious fundamentalism becomes widespread, especially when it gains a position of power."

When you look at atheistic totalitarian states, they tend to replace traditional religion with personality cults surrounding their leaders. Fundamentalism doesn't require a belief in any god. Worshipping a living person is creepier than worshipping a non-existant god and worse in many ways.

I wonder what the results would be if they asked Americans whether they believed the world would end in 2012.

Crakr, I'm not paranoid of Christians. I'm paranoid of religious fundamentalists, whatever particular flavour they happen to be. Bad things can happen when religious fundamentalism becomes widespread, especially when it gains a position of power.

>>I simply believe because logically speaking, it is the absolute best choice in this situation.

Funny, the Muslims say the same thing about their religion. Say they freely chose it and it was the best choice blah blah blah. More than 99% of you "freely choose" the exact same religion you were born into. Obviously you are lying to yourselves.

Pizzaroll: You say you follow Christ because you're essentially following morals that you already possess. Do those morals include murdering, plundering, and pillaging? I understand that Christ was supposed to be the "lamb of God", but that doesn't erase the fact that you follow a God that has, in actual scripture, "commanded" his followers on numerous occasions to invade cities, or perhaps if you prefer, abuse of women in that society.

Also, what is your case for the glaring inaccuracies and contradictions? I find that many Christians, since my family is full of them, seem to pick and choose what they believe from their own holy book.
