I think the amusement price is for the 3-D glasses...I unfortunately went to a 3-D movie once...there was a fee for it being in 3-D...I suppose for the glasses. |

skadi - US is the same way, you pay taxes on all the things u mentioned, plus FUN TAX is now also applicable, so dont hate germany that much, the grass is not always greener on the other side |

In germany you pay maximum 10€, thats less than 10$.
And germany is THE tax-land.We have taxes for everything. You pay taxes on your salary, everything that you buy includes taxes, even if you die and your kid inherits your house it has to pay taxes ( And remember, you already HAD pay taxes for the house). I hate germany ! |

I pay amusement tax on a regular basis. It's called an "XBOX Live Subscription". Bastards.
@Ollie, I know you're kidding (I lol'd at least), but have you checked the exchange rate recently? 0.9805 at time of posting... the Canadian Dollar is pretty much on parity with the American Dollar right now... |
