Friday, December 02, 2011 12:52:57 PM Saying "my nose will grow" is not a lie, he has no knowledge of the future whether his nose grows or not, so it's an assumption based on him knowing that he will eventually lie in life causing his nose to grow. NOT a paradox. |

Tuesday, June 22, 2010 6:11:57 AM He's made a statement he believes is true. His nose will grow only when he is knowingly telling a lie. All that will be proven is *insert internet brawl inducing statement here*. |

Monday, June 21, 2010 9:43:37 PM He's making a prediction, not a statement. So, if hes right, hes just lucky, if hes wrong he's not lying, he's just wrong. So, THERE IS NO PARADOX. |

Monday, June 21, 2010 10:34:44 AM Nothing about the statement, "My nose will grow," says it won't grow when he tells the truth. "If A then B" doesn't necessarily mean "If not A then not B" A common logical fallacy.

Monday, June 21, 2010 8:42:39 AM "It's called "Epimenides paradox", not the goddamn Pinocchio paradox." But there's alliteration with this one... |

Monday, June 21, 2010 4:10:11 AM it looks as if he has something growing out his pants That reminds me of a couple of jokes my father told me as a child. For brevity's sake, I will only give the punchlines. 1. Tell the truth! Tell a lie! Tell the truth! Tell a lie. 2. Who needs girls? I've got sandpaper. |

Monday, June 21, 2010 3:02:20 AM "not really, he said it and it was a lie, so his nose will grow and then it becomes true so it will shrink back down. truths and lies are not a constant, they can change easily." hahahaha there ya go. |

Monday, June 21, 2010 12:50:09 AM His nose only technically grows under stress, so if he did it calmly enough... It'd be pretty hard keeping him calm, though, knowing that even a hint of worry might rip open a black hole. |
