Friday, June 18, 2010 6:22:13 PM @panzerlancer: True, but I would imagine your average family that isn't going out buying a cheap 5-year-old computer at a secondhand store probably also isn't spending money on a monthly cell phone plan. |

Friday, June 18, 2010 11:38:15 AM @ShadowVamp What you just said is true but completely inconvenient. Now almost everyone has a cellphone and text messaging and texting google is free (standard messaging rates apply as provided by your carrier). That is convenient but the phone still is the most convenient for all. |

Friday, June 18, 2010 11:00:40 AM "...the majority of people who live beneath the poverty level aren't likely to have internet access in their home yet..." True, but a large portion of those people have access to some sort of free, public library where they can log onto the Internet if they have their free library card with them. |

Friday, June 18, 2010 10:39:48 AM @Zerocyde I'm not saying every number I try is like that, but sometimes 411.ca or yellowpages.ca don't update their directories enough. |

Friday, June 18, 2010 7:07:31 AM "The phone book can be useful sometimes, like when i need to smash a spider or something. I like the over-dramatic thwap noise." Or if you need a booster seat for a kid. "Too all those bitching about poor people affording internet.... Which comes first, the internet, or the computer?" Xbox and a subscription to Live. This pic looks like what happens every year in my one-person office. |

Friday, June 18, 2010 4:26:56 AM haha, i work for yellow book. Its used by the older generation mostly. The books are going to be near death, but not completely, in 10 years when its more profitable to focus on the computer literate |
