I feel sorry for the guy. That would have been really intimidating for him having all those people around trying to interfere, and getting in his face with the cameras when he's just trying to do his job |

Sorry, don't interveen when a cop tries to arest someone: she asked for it. i know its easy being anti-cop, caus e its cool, and to say that hes propbably racist because he hit a black woman, but that is just dumb and false. Im sure it ttok him that long because he was afraid he would get poo for hurting the woman who is resisting arrest. Cops suck until, you call them for help!lol |

Normally I'd be on the side of the girl, but she was trying to stop him from arresting somebody. She deserved it. Someone should have helped the policeman. |

Yes, in REAL LIFE, if I were to be approached with a different opinion then mine, I would definitely have a discussion about it. If I thought someone was talking crazy, I would call shenanigans.

The girl in the green top was arrested for resisting' the one in the pink was arrested for assaulting an officer. The cop is on desk duty till it's investigated. The only thing he did wrong is he took way too long to get the first one under control. He should have tazed or pepper-sprayed her and put her in the car a lot sooner. |

Green, I say that what he did was within his right.
My question of his professionalism lay in: "Is a j-walking citation worth a street brawl?"
It doesn't really matter if it was two girls or two guys; There really was no way for the patrolman to arrest a summer school student without looking petty on video.
On top of that, the spectacle CAUSED more j-walkers, which was what his presence needed to prevent. |

Normally I'm the one who sides with the offender but she was obviously resisting, grabbing, and attacking the officer. The second you lay your hands on an officer of the law, he can do whatever he wants, including shoot you. |

a seperate thought here.... am I missing all these posts that are like "this is unfair cause she's a girl!?" cause imo this has nothing to do with equal rights, at least I don't see a problem in that instance, I think the controversy here is over the professionalism of the cop, did he or did he not do the right thing.
