Really? Here in Western NC they are reporting that the Congressman assaulted the students and showed most of what I saw here. It's a shame the media would report otherwise when it's painfully obvious the man didn't behave like an adult. |

actually he had no right to know who they were or grab them in anyway at all.
he had a right to refuse to answer any questions but he didnt even have the right to NOT appear on that video as he was in a public place and he is a public servant.
honestly, that kid would have been within his rights to knock the stupid off that congressman as self-defense.
a lawyer could quickly argue unlawful detainment and physical assult.
I hope that idiot gets charged for that. |

The politician should have said, if he truly was having a bad day, "Look guys, I'm not having a good day today, if you could stop by my office later today, I'll be happy to answer a few questions." Or simply say "Maybe some other time guys."
The college kids should have simply stated "We're college students from So-and-So University, and we're doing a project for So-and-So class; would you mind answering a few questions?" And if he refused, accept it.
But his career will go unscathed. The liberal media will swallow this one like a prostitute on the job. |
