I agree with alk3v. Family Guy stopped being funny, for me, around 4 years ago or so. The Simpsons, however, have stood the test of time. And even though I don't like it as much, South Park can be quite entertaining as well. Family Guy just reminds me of a bunch of 7th grade boys; that's the mentality of that show, in my opinion. No offense to those of you who enjoy the show. |

Personally, Family Guy stopped being funny a while ago. The South Park comment about intentionally random jokes kind of rings true. I never laughed at Quagmire, but Family Guy did have its moments. I guess I just grew out of it.
I mean, they do abuse toilet humor (burp, vomit, fart and poo jokes). Something that the Simpsons and South Park can't be accused of (or at least no where near the same amount). Just my own opinion. |

@ asheren i agree 100%...and by saying that family guy steals from simpsons (i'm not really a fan of either) is just kind of dumb....like what cartoon hasn't done the little kid playing in a box, or the cops not believing/mocking someone...google images stock market roller coaster....you get a bunch of cartoons on that...joe falling then being ok and then falling again...a lot of cartoons have people get hit in the head and get amnesia and then they get hit again and it's better....same thing only different. none of those were really original ideas when either did them and anyways like they said in south park. Simpsons already did everything. |

I used to love Family Guy. Now it's completely hit or miss.

I don't really like Family Guy.
Futurama and South Park are better adult cartoons than Family Guy. There's a charm about Futurama that really attracts me to it, and theres South Park follows up on almost every new/controversial thing in real life.
To me, Family guy is just toilet humor and it challenges people to laugh more than once at the same thing. |
