or maybe women should all abstain from drinking,all clubs should be shut down, the consent forms that were mentioned earlier should be made mandatory and all rich guys should not be allowed to have sex because a one night stand to them is a bank vault opening to others

All I said was it makes the matter fuzzier than some people want it to be. You are right that giving consent for the fantasy won't kill it. However, the more she explains, the less of a fantasy it becomes, and men are aware of the fantasy exists in the minds of a lot of women doesn't help.

Women don't do this because they want to be chased, have a guy read her signals, and make a move without hearing the girl give approval. @Brassbull just because someone fantasizes about being raped does not mean that it's okay for someone to actually rape them. usually when someone has that type of fantasy they would have to talk about how the scene would be set up and what to do during the scene. that would be the consent for that particular scene. because they've discussed it doesn't mean that the partner has permission to do it from now on whenever they like. it's just for that scene.

Yes, her description was probably pretty much exactly how it went down; omitted, however, is how he got past her clothing. Without violence or the threat of violence, how did he get her legs apart and get past her clothing? Also missing is what she was doing with her hands; was she using them to push him away? Doubtful. It's not that black and white. Women want a man who doesn't need consent. If she has to tell him that she wants to have sex, then they're not going to be having sex.
To make matters more complicated, a huge number of women I've spoken to about sexual desires say they fantasize about being raped (by someone they're attracted to and trust of course), and this is a paradox because again, if the woman has to give verbal consent, the fantasy dies and no one gets laid. When you give that much responsibility to anyone, there are going to be instances where they abuse it or misinterpret signals. I'm not suggesting this should vindicate any rapist, but the issue is much more gray than you would like it to be. |

okay she did not consent, so stop blaming the freaking victim!!! and she doesnt sound upset because many victims make it matter of fact to deal with it, if they included the emotions they feelt at the time they would probably break down. anyone who is judging the victim here is a complete f*cktard. so angry at people who dont understand rape, if theres no consent guys, its rape. she says no, she means no...
and many people say that girls cry rape when they havent been, when infact the % of rape that the police say have been falsified is exactly the same % as any other crime! its also the only crime where we seem to feel that its the victims fault, we put blame and shame on the victim and often accuse them of lying. its awful, rape is an awful thing to have happen to u and its so often not reported because the victims are afraid of the judgment they will reciece.
