I don't think war is stupid. What I think is stupid is lack of respect for diplomacy. In 1979 we had schit going down with Egypt, which I note, is a primarily islamic country(there are coptic christian sects there.) Jimmy Carter took diplomacy very serious and we still have peace with them to this day. Nobody had to die, and they didn't. When I heard Bush saying "We do not negotiate with terrorists," What I saw was an immature little brat who hits people because that is the only thing he knows. God bless America,
