Wednesday, June 09, 2010 10:54:08 PM Lol. Im not a big fan of gays getting married, but this is exactly how I have always felt. I dont know that its anything sacred any more worth fighting for. They only want it because they cant have it. Its not like straight couples havent been hard at work ruining the sanctity of marriage anywa. |

Wednesday, June 09, 2010 3:59:39 AM Part 3: "Since then I sometimes wake up howling in the middle of the night. For fifty years now that scene has kept ceaselessly passing and re-passing though my mind. I will never forget the barbaric murder of my love - before my very eyes, before our eyes, for there were hundreds of witnesses. Why are they still silent today? Have they all died? It's true that we were among the youngest in the camp and that a lot of time has gone by. But I suspect that some people prefer to remain silent forever, afraid to stir up memories, like that one among so many others. |

Wednesday, June 09, 2010 3:59:08 AM Part 2: "Now I froze in terror. I had prayed that he would escape their lists, their roundups, their humiliations. And there he was before my powerless eyes, which filled with tears. Unlike me, he had not carried dangerous letters, torn down posters, or signed any statements. And yet he had been caught and was about to die. What had happened? What had the monsters accused him of? Because of my anguish I have completely forgotten the wording of the death sentence. "The the loudspeakers broadcast some noisy classical music while the SS stripped him naked and shoved tin pail over his head. Next they sicced their ferocious German Shepherds on him: the guard dogs first bit into his groin and thighs, then devoured him right in front of us. His shrieks of pain were distorted and amplified by the pail in which his head was trapped. My rigid body reeled, my eyes gaped at so much horror, tears poured down my cheeks, I fervently prayed that he would black out qui |

Wednesday, June 09, 2010 3:58:42 AM Part 1 (in a German camp): "One day the loudspeakers order us to report immediately to the roll-call. Shouts and yells urged us to get there without delay. Surrounded by SS men, we had to form a square and stand at attention, as we did for the morning roll call. The commandant appeared with his entire general staff. I assumed he was going to bludgeon us once again with his blind faith in the Reich, together with a list of orders, insults and threats - emulating the infamous outpourings of his master, Adolf Hitler. But the actual ordeal was worse: an execution. Two SS men brought a young man to the center of out square. Horrified, I recognized Jo, my loving friend, who was only eighteen years old. I hadn't previously spotted him in the camp. Had he arrived before or after me? We hadn't seen each other during the days before I was summoned by the Gestapo. |

Wednesday, June 09, 2010 3:57:48 AM As a lean back towards the original topic, I wish to bring to your attention part of the story of Pierre Seel. Because it is absolutely the most upsetting thing I have ever read. It is long, so I need to split it up: Source:here |

Wednesday, June 09, 2010 3:53:05 AM @greatjob "@Musuko42 they didn't fight for their God given right though, they fought for freedom." You heard it right from the fundie's mouth, folks; freedom is granted by men, not by god. "because I then have the right to choose my own rights therefore one my rights could be to take other peoples rights away and it." That is correct, and that's exactly what people have done all through history; taken away the rights of other people (often in the name of their god, I might mention). Then others fought to restore those stolen rights. Ultimately, your rights are only what people around you grant you, and their rights are only what you grant them. Tell me this; if rights were granted and protected by your god, then how are abuses of rights even possible in the first place? If an all-powerful god were in charge of providing our rights, then he's doing a pretty bad job of it.

Wednesday, June 09, 2010 2:33:13 AM @Musuko42 they didn't fight for their God given right though, they fought for freedom. Do I have the right to go and murder? I don't see why I don't have the right to murderin your eyes because I then have the right to choose my own rights therefore one my rights could be to take other peoples rights away and it. But let me say this, God gives us free will but thats one of our rights, but if He cammands that we don't commit crimes/sins then we ought not to do those crimes/sins because if Im right about there being an all powerful God then He is the one to give out rights. |

Tuesday, June 08, 2010 9:03:33 PM for those who said God gave them their rights... "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" I'll give'ya God does the Life thing, but as the bible endorses slavery I don't think you can credit God with Liberty or Pursuit of Happiness. |

Tuesday, June 08, 2010 8:38:07 PM Voice of straight, white, probably southern American male: "We're not miserable! We love our wives and may God strike down anyone that says otherwise, along with the gays! They're EVIL because God said so!" Mhm, really? You love your wife and you're not miserable? Why, then, are you screwing around with the underage town slut, or the neighbor's wife, or your sexy coworker? Even though I know it will never come to be, tolerance, my friends. |

Tuesday, June 08, 2010 8:15:16 PM I think its completely reasonable to assume that the founding fathers did not intend for there to be freedom for anyone but English men. I don't give a phuck what people say about America being the land of the free. I live here and know for dammn certain that I am not free in this land of bigots, culture suppressors, "christians", and homophobics, and ignorantly chauvinistic pigs. The sheep rule this land and the pastures are pretty thin for some folk. Unless you live in the city, America can be a wasteland of desolation and soullessness. All the growth it seems "America" is having with "tolerance" and such is not so widespread as you might think. Most of the reported, televised, and posted information about how far we've come fails to show the areas of America that will never succeed in learning to change. And if that is where you are born, you are just as phucked as ever. Just open up the readers digest and you'll see what "acceptable" america |

Tuesday, June 08, 2010 7:35:30 PM My aunts in her late 30's and has a very good job doing administration work in a hospital. She spent many years before that though as an occupational therapist. She also got a license to be a real estate agent so she'd have more income. She met a friend at the hospital she worked at. Her friend was a physical therapist and now works the same kind of job as my aunt. They are pro-life. They are Catholic. They go on vacations with friends. They go out for drinks and joke around. To anyone who sees them they are just completely normal people. They have a house together and lived together for quite a few years before that. Apparently though people like my aunt aren't allowed to get married because they have such chaotic lives filled with demons and drugs and wild sex orgies. She's expressed no interest in children but i'd much rather see her and her "friend" have a child than the straight alcoholic teen whore in my town who smoked while pregnant who just gave birth yester |

Tuesday, June 08, 2010 4:28:12 PM or, at least, CrakrJak, Do what someone before me said, and post some damn keywords! but hell, if you've submitted my sources in several other 'Listings' here on IAB. Gets rather tiring going over and over them again and again just to have people doubt their veracity and accuracy (no matter where they come from). you could probably find them rather quickly. Hell, I don't even give a damn about it's veracity and accuaracy, I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU GOT THE F-CKING NUMBERS FROM!! |

Tuesday, June 08, 2010 4:24:45 PM You've just proved my point, You're already attacking it and you don't even know the source. You attack me with bullpoo about Ted Haggard, As if I'm one in the same. You're making a joke of yourself, Linking to an OP-ED as if it's fact ? You seem to revel in your derangement, I feel sorry for you. crakr, until you actually post EVIDENCE of your claims, you don't have the right to say someone linking an actual article, no matter how tilted it is. And no, I won't google for YOUR DAMN CLAIMS. seriously. That's like me saying "There is a teapot floating somewhere between Earth and Mars. IN that teapot is the information that will advance science by 1000 years! I know where the teapot is, I have it's exact placement in reality. But you have to search for it." (I admit that ran away from me a bit.) |
