Sunday, June 06, 2010 10:10:12 PM Took me awhile to realise it was a poodle with an ungroomed front half and not a buffalo with a shaved back half. |

Sunday, June 06, 2010 7:23:14 PM Techincally it's a poodson. There are only bison in North America, no buffalo. True dat. Also vaguely interesting is that the correct scientific name for the North American Plains Bison is Bison bison bison.

Sunday, June 06, 2010 7:10:30 PM Waaah! Hahaha! Actually it looks good! People in my province (Manitoba) should be required to shave their poodles like this! |

Sunday, June 06, 2010 5:37:59 PM Mooberry.."someone else in the world acknowledges that! I hate having to explain that they are bison and not buffalo!" Technically you are correct. Since the first settlers discovered North American Bison, they called them buffalo cause they did'nt know any better. They both come from the same family (Bovidae). Now when you go to blow you nose do you ask for a "tissue" or a "Kleenex" ? Technically if it's not the brand name "Kleenex" you are using a tissue. It drives me nuts when people call it a Kleenex and they are using scottys tissue. *Sarcasm* |
