@sbeelz: There are some (possibly African) tribes where people hang weights from their ears to stretch the lobes out as part of an enlightenment/wisdom ritual. Maybe most 'Westerners' who do such a thing don't feel it is for enlightenment, but traditionally, yes it is. |

What makes you think this is fake? I've seen dozens of people with their ears stretched big enough to do this.
Also, I don't know anyone who stretches their ears because they think it's "enlightening." Everyone I know who has stretched lobes- including myself- stretched their ears for the same reason anyone gets their ears pierced, or any other part of their body for that matter- they like the way it looks. But it seems f_vanmeter already made that point. |

Its cool no one calls anyway.
I've never seen the point in seeing how much crap you can fit in your stretched out ears. Though mine are 2g so all I could fit a pencil not much else. |
