Are you joking? This spill happened specifically because they're not doing their best. They have a pathological tendency to ignore their employee's warnings about poorly maintained equipment. They don't give a fcuk because they know they aren't going to have to suffer any consequences for their negligence. Or rather the consequences will be cheaper than it would have been to simply keep their sh*t in working order. |

Folks we haven't even begun to see the worst of this catastrophe yet. The Gulf hurricane season is about to rev up and when it does that oil is gonna go everywhere. I feel like this is the biggest ecologic disaster our country has ever faced and we can't really do anything about it. |

man this whole oil thing is a disaster. is it still leaking? are they cleaning it up? I havnt heard any positive news about this yet.
Its sad, but Im sure all the ships in that area have destroyed the coral and over fished it by now anyway. |

The oil is representative of the "blood on our hands" for being consumers. We as consumers are enabling the oil companies to flourish and any negative situations are the fault of consumers by proxy.
That's what I saw in that...I don't know about you guys. |
