Thats pretty big for a jumping spider. Most of the ones we get over here (UK) are less than 5mm in size. Cute. They often swivel their heads up to check out an observer.
Crab spiders are more impressive in that they'll ambush much bigger prey.
The real battle royal is wasp vs spider. Big parasitic wasp pwns tarantula as a living foodstore for baby wasps... |
