That cop saved that guys life ..he could have blown a hole right through him and it would've been conisdered correct procedure ..although it would've looked bad if he was holding both guns but instead chose to use the real one
Still, that taze was more than legit ..again, he saved his life. |

I see a police officer pointing a taser at a standing man. I see the police officer's mouth move. I cannot hear what the police officer is saying.
So I cannot tell what is happening, but I can make a guess: maybe the police officer was ordering the man to lay down on the ground. The man clearly did not do so. Thus, the taser was used. |

i have always opposed tazering, however in this case i think it was used appropriately as the tazer DEESCALATED the situation from a potentially deadly one to a controlled one. he was reaching for something that from a rational point of view could have been a weapon, so for once i do feel it was necessary |

I think we found masterchief....Yay duel wielding....Very justified....You know cops rather you have your back turned...Hands up, he was not following directions, he appears to grab for something giving the cop a good reason to taze the water covered dude....
It would have been excessive if he repeatedly pulled the shock trigger and laughed as the water amplified the effect |

Who ever filmed and published this wasn't stupid. They took the audio but if you look closely you can see the cop shouting him to put his hands up which he did not do and he looks like he was going to grab some sort of weapon. Maybe a knife? Which the policeman took when he fell. I believe police sometimes let the ball drop and use excessive force but it goes with the territory and this time it was more than justifiable. SOP, that's what it was. |

He totally should have been tased. The cop was giving him orders, which he ignored, and then he stuck his hands in his clothing and started to turn around. ZAAAAP! |

there is no audio to this. It the cop was giving directions that the bad guy was not following the cop needed to take some action. The cop cannot know if the man is just standing there to be a jerk or because he is getting ready to attack. This video is worthless if we don't know what was being said. |

Upon second review, justified. He had some sort of weapon under that shirt that the cop took. That guy is just lucky that the cop is left handed....
On a side note. Double weapon win for that cop! I bet they don't teach that in training lol. |

Come on people, the audio cuts out. You don't know if he said "ok I give up" or "F-you copper I'm grabbing a gun" (as his right hand goes under his shirt. Pointless to argue either side with this video. |

Wow I agree that sometimes police have way too much power but to say that they should all die?? Yeah you may be able to protect yourself now.. but what about when you are all old and shriveled with crippling athritis and a dodgy knee eh? You'll be easy pickings for the low life morons who want to steal your stuff.. Just sayin.. sometimes the police come in handy.. |
