Sunday, May 16, 2010 8:22:27 PM you gotta love how hard how amny white people are backlashing against the ethnic revoltion to take back their identities that were stolen from them for two hundred years by white colonization and domination. better is how white people think they are the victims and that everyone else should follow their culture and anything but their culture is wrong, unamerican blah blah blah. |

Sunday, May 16, 2010 7:11:03 PM @Angilion Lol people can't just use the ok lets stop all this now attitude when they have what they want. Of course they can, and usually do, but that's besides the point. The point I was making was that it is not *internally consistent* to say that something is both harmless immigration and that it is the same as invasion and conquest. It's one or the other. It can't be both. So, for example, when Reignblazer says "You know America, your ancestors were all immigrants /shocker", they are arguing that what is called immigration in the USA now is actually an attempt at conquest. If that isn't what they meant, their argument is rubbish. |

Sunday, May 16, 2010 2:09:52 PM Hey Feiku, try moving to Saudi Arabia and see how far you get expecting the same treatment and allowances immigrants get here. Or just about any other country for that matter. My grand parents were immigrants, and they did two things before moving here. 1: had the entire family learn English (They're French). 2: Did all the paperwork to come here legally. And sorry guy from Cracked.com up there, but the entire process took two months in the '30's. |

Sunday, May 16, 2010 12:51:46 PM You know America, your ancestors were all immigrants /shocker Yes, their ancestors went to America and took the land from the people who were already there. So...are you arguing in favour of the same thing happening again? |

Sunday, May 16, 2010 9:52:40 AM Hey gargamel. You do realize the Arizona is just a state adoption of federal law. Federal law that has been in place since the 50's? |

Sunday, May 16, 2010 8:14:47 AM I do not know of one single immigrant who had the mindset that Americans need to speak their language cause they didn't think it was fair they needed to learn English. Then you're (i) in the wrong part of the USA and (ii) don't look at news from elsewhere. |

Sunday, May 16, 2010 7:26:01 AM @madest: I do. I knock on their doors everyday. I say hello and they say "Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh." and "Ummmmmmmmmmmmm." Then I say How are you? and they say "Uhhhhhhhhhhh." "Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm." Then I say Habla Engleis? (or however you spell it) and they say "Uhhhh no. no." Then I walk away. |

Sunday, May 16, 2010 4:28:15 AM a growing number of immigrants to this country (primarily Hispanic, no other way to say it) are not learning the language because they don't have to. ------------ Says who FoSchizle? If this is simply your imression then I suggest you get out and meet some immigrants. |

Sunday, May 16, 2010 4:03:11 AM I would find this funnier if I could be 100% sure that there wasn't a real person that was really like this, but I know that there probably is. |

Saturday, May 15, 2010 8:51:52 PM feiku, I have moved to another country and immediately began learning and using the language. Sadly, a growing number of immigrants to this country (primarily Hispanic, no other way to say it) are not learning the language because they don't have to. I'm not saying they need to learn it in one day. Typically if you're coming here legally you would have learned enough of the language to take a driving test anyways. |
