I got that out of the way the very first time I met my girlfriend, and that was 2 years back. I see no need in trying to mask yourself and be different when you meet a person...I believe it's called just being rude, though...lol |

lol are there really people out there who freak over farts? Sorry but I have colitis amd i'm not going to get up up every single time i feel a toot coming on to go into the bathroom to be a "decent lady" in my own damn house. Thank god my fiance' doesn't give a f*ck About farting or "bathroom noises" or the relationship would never work out at all. If me and him were to ever break up however the first thing on my list for a new boyfriend would be one that can deal with farts cause it's going to happen eventually like it or not. Either that or he better be rich with a huge house and a bunch of bathrooms so he'll never have to hear it.

The whole ladylike issue aside, I wouldn't ever intentionally fart in front of anyone, much less my boyfriend. If it slips, I'll say sorry and feel embarrassed because really it's not exactly a pleasant thing to do. However I burp with no qualms as to who's around. I'll say excuse me, but it's a burp. There's no stink, just a noise.
