NEVER reply, unsubscribe, tell them to get stuffed, or allow receipted delivery on unsolicited email. All you do is tell them "This account is actively checked and very much alive." Any reply at all flags your email in their systems as 'better than most prospect'.
This is conventional wisdom, but I will say that I had an email account so ridden with junk mail, I decided to put it to the test by attempting to use the unsubscribe link attached to most of them and it did, in fact, seem to make things better..
So I guess if you really have nothing to lose, it can't hurt. |

I got the other day an invitation in msn of a strange mail, beckydsjhasdjh or something like that, it was one of those robots selling you porn, i told it to go drat himself and now i get a new email request everyday with a different random email address, its like those recruitment agencies, once they have your cv in their database, theyll never stop |
