Wednesday, May 12, 2010 9:10:36 PM I remember reading a little article on Tarantino's little signature things and the trunk shot was mentioned. |

Tuesday, May 11, 2010 1:50:50 AM What blckhawk1234, gshockx21 said. Also, that's not a particularly uncommon angle for others; I've seen it in several moving pictures that Tarantino had nothing to do with. Funny all the same, though. =] |

Monday, May 10, 2010 9:37:03 PM but does it make him a bad director? theyre all great shots, and notice that in most of them, theres at least one actor looking directly into the camera. It gives a sense of emotion going eye to eye with a character. It's also arguably his style, considering those are a majority of his entire film career. There's a reason why Tarantino's characters really stick with you, good cinematography works wonders |

Monday, May 10, 2010 7:14:38 PM I would rather see this shot in every film than Michael Bay's standard 'Camera revolving around main character who is looking/squinting off into the distance with a backdrop of a blue sky behind them and/or helicopters flying overhead' shot. |

Monday, May 10, 2010 6:27:39 PM @SamVimes, That's pretty neat. And I do like that shot myself-it mixes enough suspense as to what they're looking at with uniqueness of a bottom-up view. |

Monday, May 10, 2010 6:20:31 PM well to be fair, it IS a good shot. i mean, its boring when the camera is always the same. |
