hey death proof was the poo.....though i did think it was a lot different from his other films, but thats how it was supposed to be, his take on old school car flicks...and it was done wonderfully, whomever didnt like it im guessing didnt like 4 rooms either lol |

Also, that's not a particularly uncommon angle for others; I've seen it in several moving pictures that Tarantino had nothing to do with.

but does it make him a bad director? theyre all great shots, and notice that in most of them, theres at least one actor looking directly into the camera. It gives a sense of emotion going eye to eye with a character. It's also arguably his style, considering those are a majority of his entire film career. There's a reason why Tarantino's characters really stick with you, good cinematography works wonders |

I would rather see this shot in every film than Michael Bay's standard 'Camera revolving around main character who is looking/squinting off into the distance with a backdrop of a blue sky behind them and/or helicopters flying overhead' shot. |

That's pretty neat. And I do like that shot myself-it mixes enough suspense as to what they're looking at with uniqueness of a bottom-up view. |
