The biological argument does not substantiate why its a social fetish now. Humans aren't as beholden to their animal origins as they were. I mean, we do things contrary to it all the time.
I don't understand why I'm stupid for questioning an obsession with virginity even among men who don't want to have babies. It seems to me it's about possessiveness rather than some biological argument. That just rings as a cop-out to me.
