I watched this whole thing on how they made avatar, it was really cool. i think about how they made it all the time when i watch movies.

Yeah, I saw the behind the scenes of this on the DVD and it amazed me to find out that that the only makeup involved was a little around Bill Nighy's (Davy Jones) eye and mouth since he has a lot of closeups. I thought they would at least be wearing some props like the octopus beard for Davy Jones but nope, everything is CG and physics based. |
