Whether Snopes is reputable or not, this whole story doesn't make sense. How would the eel survive being in the guy's bum, let alone survive eating his insides? Hello, doesn't it seem like it would SUFFOCATE? And yeah...the Sun is a MUCH more reliable source of information than Snopes is. Sorry, this one's too gross and too implausible, I still say it's rubbish.(Sorry, pissier than usual because I'm sick. Still....) |

Fake or not, it's the writing that gets the win on this one. Reading articles about objects up a bum have almost become commonplace on sites like this.....reading a phrase like "devoured his bowels" is pretty much guaranteed to create a spontaneous retch-fest. |
