Tuesday, April 27, 2010 10:11:41 AM It would be nice if people could see past this ridiculous popularity contest we've got going on at the moment and realise our system is not the same as the US's; we do not vote for the Prime Minister. Which leader/party you want to gain government will inform your view, of course, but when it comes to election day you're not voting for Clegg, Cameron or Brown, you're voting for the MP for your constituency. Try looking at them, what they want to do in your area, who holds the seat now, how it's likely to swing. Let that inform your vote as well. Who gets into power isn't based on the popular vote (or the Lib Dems would do a lot better than they do at the moment, which is also why they want electoral reform), so you're probably better off voting tactically and in an informed way regarding your area. After all, the parties have big policies affecting the whole country, but your local MP will be running your area, so make sure you pick one who can do it right! Just my two cents. :) |

Tuesday, April 27, 2010 7:47:31 AM The conservatives are really the only option if you want your vote to count. Labour: let's face it, it's not happening, agreed? Lib Dem: Tax us for all weve got to fill their own pockets. Tory: Wins by default. It's either a douche or a turd I'm afraid. |

Tuesday, April 27, 2010 5:59:07 AM That's right! Vote Lib Dem! Let the horrifically left wing Vince Cable tax you penniless! Because after all, the money you earn isn't yours, it's theirs! That's a motto I can REALLY get behind. And who cares that because of our election system a vote for the Lib Dems is practically useless? After all, if we cant have the Leftie Vince the next best thing is Gordie with his 50% taxes! Go Labour and Lib Dem! I don't want my money! |

Tuesday, April 27, 2010 5:22:02 AM "Just FYI, for those who don't know, UK conservatives have almost nothing in common with US conservatives." Oh bullpoo. They're ALL Politicians, so they're tarred with the same lowest-common-denominator self-important greedy embezzling lying conning preening hypocritical brush as each other, no matter where they are. |

Tuesday, April 27, 2010 3:19:00 AM He must be thinking about cloning himself. For he is a monumental co- oh wait, I have to say "Rooster" >_> I'm 18 and registered, but I don't know who I really want to vote for. It may just end up being the Liberal Democrats (even though they nearly always come in 3rd), just because I don't like the other two biggies. Labour screwed up big time and the Tories, well, this silver-spooned ponce is in charge, plus they want to up Uni fees. ROOSTERS! |

Tuesday, April 27, 2010 12:36:58 AM Doesn't surprise me in the least. "Just FYI, for those who don't know, UK conservatives have almost nothing in common with US conservatives." They have some things in common with swedish conservatives. Of course, we don't really have conservatives anymore. They're now just a centre-right party. |
