"the songs name is "99 Luftballoons", not "99 Red Balloons".....idiot" 99 Red Balloons is the English name, dipweed.And I think the premise is still the same, so I see no problem, considering the band was in charge of the translation. |

I would imagine it would be rather difficult to translate word for word to the same tune. I don't have a problem with it, especially since it keeps basically the same story. |

I remember one night back then when I was listening to 'America Top 40' with Casey Kasem (yes, I'm old as well), and Casey played a 'special version' of '99 Luftballoons.In some areas of the US, the German version was the hit, while in other areas the English version was the hit...so Casey spun a combined English-and-German version. Ugh. |

Of the actual song, I love the German version, "99 luftballons". I can't stand the engish version. And as for this...I don't know what to think of it. Ugh |

haha! My dad goes to China on lots of business trips alot and they illegally sell DVDs for like 80 cents -but they're legal to buy. The subtitles are SO off but they're really funny. This reminded me of them
