Yeah, I'm not a "deer expert" - but I think I'm gonna have to agree with Numbersup. I thought all that hoof flailing and kicking was their way of defending themselves or fighting, not playing. Although that dog is lucky that deer didn't hurt it. |

Oh god, they were feeding that little pest? Having lived on a farm most of my life I can tell you, that's not play behavior on the part of the deer. It's trying to run the dog -- a potential threat in its eyes -- away from its food source. |

I love the kittehs in the video, just watching the deer & the doggie tire themselves out! lolz!
The dog is playing "I've got a ball" and the deer is playing "lets butt heads" the cats are playing "are you seeing this too Fluffy?"
The info in the video says the deer was found as an injured fawn, & raised by the family. It now runs free, as in it usually hangs out with other wild deer, but comes back to visit (and play) often.
So yes, the deer is having fun and can leave whenever it chooses. The doggie loves the deer! |

That dog sure is patient with the deer, I could hear the *WHAP!* of those little hoofs hitting his face a couple times and was amazed at how he just shrugged it off and kept playing.
Now I must go clean up the mess made by my broken, smoking Cute-O-Meter. It's a total wreck. |

That deer is there by choice, no four foot fence is going to contain any deer.
As for the cats at 4:02, I see there doing what cats do best, sucking back precious, precious oxygen. |

The video description on youtube says they raised this deer and it still ahngs out and plays with their dog. I mean, it ran away and came back. It was obviously playin'. |
