I can understand some gay rights, but in the military, it creates problems. No, not just for homo-phobes @_@. Straight men living together with gay men is the problem. Think "group showers" and "the guy in the next bed over has a crush on you..." |

This isn't an actual headstone it's just some gay rights propaganda but the point is pretty valid either way. What this says actually happens and it really shouldn't.
I really don't see why gays should be treated differently. They aren't breaking laws and it is discriminatory to treat them differently in all other facets such as employment etc so why should military service be different?
Anyhow I'm not exactly all for gay rights or whatever I just think that what people want to do in the bedroom is their own dam business and no one else really has the right to infringe on another persons freedom. |

Don't ask, don't tell is bullpoo anyway. When I was 18, my boyfriend joined the army and they asked him in the recruitment paperwork. He had to lie to get in. I guess in a little hick town in Texas they figure no one will get mad. |

Patticakes- women dont get discharged from the military for getting preggo...
I think serving ones country is one of the finest things a citizen can do, regardless of sexual orientation/race/gender/culture or anything like that. Lord knows we need more people in the service anyway...
