The ref thought Watt was intentionally trying to injure the goalie. I think it was this ref here doing the officiating.

And hockey is hands down the most exciting sport there is. Of the major 4 pro sports, only basketball has the same time of ened to end 60 minute action. But there are so many points that a goal isn't exactly a big deal, not to mention in most games it is only the last 5 minutes that matter due to how many god damn timeouts they have. As well basketball is not full contact. Baseball is boring as hell to watch (although super fun to play.) And although I think football is the 2nd most watchable sport, most of the drating time on the clock is spent with nothing happening!

What do canucks know about the AHL or professional hockey in general? There are as many professional teams in New York state as there are in Canada.

Although the phrasing is a bit confusing, I am pretty sure the initial quote is referring to a horrific blown call in Game 3 of the Canucks vs. Kings series. The refs disallowed a goal which was CLEARLY legal, thus altering the momentum in the game and shutting down a potential Vancouver comeback. In every replay they showed, it should have been a goal. |

I don't when this was, but the refs in this years playoffs are horrible, either making terrible calls or not making calls at all. And I am not talking about minor infractions
and I like how most of the players just sit there like nothing is going on |

LOL I remember watching that live. Was some funny funny stuff. The players on his left were totally laughing while the guys on the right were like, shhh, just sit still and he wont even acknowledge us lol
Regardless it was a crap call. |
