also loved the animated TV show back in the day, even if it was about a bunch of white guys who enslaved godzilla to fight monsters for them. wtf was up with godzookie though? |

I only know how to make the lower case "ö" (alt+0246) without looking. Either way, you're acting like a 24YO shouldn't be using "BOC" because he's young, he's using it wrong, doesn't get it because he wasn't there. And for that, I am thoroughly insulted.
I have an extremely wide range of musical appreciation, focused mainly on the heaviest of rock and metal from the 60's and 70's.
(Yes I know Black Sabbath was first, and yes, I know they were created in 1968, which means there wasn't much metal in the 60s, no wiki)
On another note, I own all the Godzilla movies, on VHS, and DVD... Will get Blu-Ray one day, but seriously, no movie that grainy could ever "look good", it's part of the charm.

BÖC rules! (And it's BÖC, not BOC. You gotta learn how to make a Ö.) I got their 1st album (arguably their best) right when it came out, and I knew they'd be around for a while. It was one of the very few albums that I had on vinyl AND 8-Track for home and car, respectively. (If you're wondering why I didn't have a cassette deck, it was a factory tape deck in the family car that I inherited in high school. But I digress...) I've seen them in concert 3 times, and every time they were stupendous.
I also saw the first American Godzilla movie (with Raymond Burr) at the drive in when it first came out. (I was 3 yrs. old at the time, and it scared the holy CRAP our of me.) In the first one, Godzilla was a bad guy, but 10 years later in "Ghidrah, the Three-Headed Monster" he became a good guy. You gotta love good-guy Godzilla! |
