Monday, May 17, 2010 10:15:51 AM "Wasabi (the green paste) tastes somewhat like horseradish. Some people mix a little wasabi into the soy sauce; however, even though the wasabi is there on your plate, it's really considered bad manners to do this, because the sushi chef has already placed some wasabi on the rice roll. If you add more wasabi, you are essentially telling the chef that he or she did not do a good job." I also found out that when you're actually putting the wasabi on your sushi, it should be on the opposite side of the soy sauce (if using any). Apparently most people don't use it [wasabi] anyway.

Friday, April 16, 2010 2:46:53 PM then there's how to eat food in nebraska, if it moves, eat it. if its big and moves, eat it before it eats you! if it is rooted to the ground, feed it to a rabbit, then eat the rabbit. when eating out, tip your bartender and waitress seperately. slip the cook a joint. |

Friday, April 16, 2010 8:31:05 AM One of the things I've learned to appreciate about living in Colorado is having food "Colorado style". That means I eat my food the way I want it, and everyone else can STFU.

Thursday, April 15, 2010 1:33:12 PM I kind of like this. Brief, but seems to hit the topic really well. I assume that the wasabi is dipped fish first as well? |

Thursday, April 15, 2010 12:56:42 PM But what if it's a roll that's surrounded by rice? You have no choice but to get soy sauce on it. Ew, wait, people put wasabi in the soy sauce? Ew. It's so spicy! |

Thursday, April 15, 2010 8:07:03 AM >>"They both don't exist? What're you trying to prove there? :)" Ha ha, nope, just that both seem to create a lot of discussion here. Besides, sushi does exist... (I'll keep my moush shut about the other one... for now) |
