erm.....thats why when i talk to Americans they don't know what the drat i'm talking about. Its sad when you have 200 channels and they are owned by the same 4 corps. The Time, CNN, and FOX are the worst. |

I would argue that many Americans are ignorant about world issues just for this reason. They aren't exposed to truthful, reliable, or relevant information through the media and don't know that a) real news exists or b) where to find it. |

And thus is why americans are ignorant when it comes to what is happening in the world. They are to busy with their Ipads and Paris Hilton and they don't even know that on the other side of the world people are commit acts of murder. I am not talking about those US soldiers either but of all the bombings, IDE's terrorist killing innocent people and so on. I am an american and it is shameful that so many others care more about whether or not paris hiltons poop is brown and don't care about what is happening anywhere else. |

It's not just murder god's pushing here, read that part again - "... do not leave alive anything that breathes."
He's commanding genocide. If that's not worse than murder, then you have a very skewed sense of morality. |

anyone with half a brain knows that al-jazeera is up there with the bbc when it comes to impartiality, in general.
god some americans just make me so annoyed, you know, the large minority that live up to the stereotypical dumb redneck racist trash image that the rest of the world have of americans.

What I find funny is how these people reporting what they call the murder or civilians by U.S. forces, say nothing of the people murdered by terrorist groups such as contractors. It is fine for the Muslims to murder, it just a horrible crime and a justification for terrorism when U.S. soldiers inadvertently kill civilians. |

I think the point is not about terrorism, or whether the reporters are dickheads or not, but in the quality of the news. I'm sure quality news exists somewhere in US but I sure as hell haven't encountered it yet. |

The reporters were "palling around with terrorists"... where did I hear that before...
So they should just stay clear of the war zones and report what the high commands tells them to.
Had they been killed by an IED while "palling around" with marines to do their job , they would be heros , since they were doing their job tracking the other side, they had it coming.
