if you've ever worked in a library, you've probably already made this list and the question of where to start is a tough one... nora roberts would be a great start, though.

I also really like the "points" people make about the lack of Meyers' literary prowess. Nevermind the fact that many, many successful writers are lacking in the "fantastic writing" area. Take Louis LAmour for instance. He used sophmoric and simple/direct language in his books. He had more movies made about his books than most writers, got the first congressional medal for his writings and is still loved long after death. Why? Because it doesn't matter how bad you write, so long as you tell a good story that people love. There are many people who enjoy the Twilight story. Hate all you want, it will not go away.

Other good vampire stories include the TRU Blood novels and Anne Rices Vampire Chronicles (Too bad she became Christian). I enjoyed all those too.

SammyCyanide "Twilight haters are just as bad as Twilight fan girls these days.
You hate it, yet you rabidly hate it."

The only thing is, we hate with logic, they love with blind idiocy.

Uh, since when does I-A-B hate this guy? You post this webcomic all the time. In fact, this site introduced me to him.

God, I-A-B, you flip flop more than political candidates.

Well if this was a normal library (which it probably is) they would keep the "Twilight" books in the fiction section in the "MEY" section.
Is this guy a dumbass?
Nevermind, I answered my own question.

Hint: It's the young adult section.

I sometimes browse the teen section in the library and Twilight books are always there. The ones that aren't were stolen.
also I feel like i'm the only girl sometimes that isn't swooning over this movies/book series.
