i noticed it because i did a quick search about christian positions on cross-dressing and there was a mention of Deuteronomy. So I looked in the bible. And i found 22.5. Though this crankiness about my statement seems like a way of trying to deflate my comment by nitpicking my diction.
So forgive me, I *found* in deuteronomy 22.5 that god doesn't want cross-dressing.

Look man, we're regulars here. We're both grown men. My comment was amusing. I was trying to be "snappy". I didn't know it was verboten but now I do. None of it was an attack on his religion. How he came to that conclusion is beyond me and that Russian mathematician. |

I just noted that deuteronomy 22.5 prohibits crossdressing. So perhaps that is the source of the Christian outrage. I could go on and on asking questions about why god cares about our apparel, but it is noted that christians prefer men and women be clearly different. I suppose this is just a difference of opinion. What I don't understand is why this should have any influence or put any pressure on non-christians. I don't understand why non-christians should have to accommodate non-christian distaste for cross-dressing by not posting about it on a forum where Christians reside. |

Friend, not how we roll. You and I are opposite ends of the spectrum, political, religious, and otherwise, and I think (and hope) that we can keep respecting each other. We have a fair dose of right-wing conservatism in the small mod community, all the way down to Christian Conservative literal Young-Earth Creationists (you know who you are, Lionhart). We don't do favourism, or at least, try our best not to. |

I was kinda wondering about that. Seems like for one a caption wasn't changed from the original poster. I call not fair on singling out individual users, unless it's purely in fun (I made one a while back of a dude getting kinky with a cat, captioned "The Secret Life of PMarren". I hope that was taken in fun. This? I dunno. |
