@nettech98 - As a former soldier, NOTHING would make me happier than to see these people get whats coming to them, but we'd be infringing upon rights that they have as citizen which we soldiers fight so hard to protect. The US doesn't practice exile as punishment, but if we did, I'd be all for revoking these peoples' citizenship and booting them to Abu Dhabi or something. That way, we wouldn't have to grant them aforementioned rights. |

As for the children... Physical abuse and some mental abuse is very against the law. But this? Brainwashing to the point that they have done? Ouch. My hope is that the almost adult children see the voice of reason and shut this place down. Koolaid anyone?? |

Without having read the previous posts....
It just PISSES me off that those Soldiers died defending the very right they use (ABUSE!) to spout their hatred.
My sentence? Revocation of their citizenship. Relocation to whatever area the Taliban will be in power for the next 20 years. Burqas and SILENCE for all, including their false 'prophet'. I would love to include gay sex, but the Taliban aren't into that. (sheep maybe?)

Balthazaaq, its not about Freedom of Speech. If it were, they'g have been shut down a long time ago. Its about the fact that they persecute the entire country as if we're ALL sinners and that God hates soldiers, and thats why they die at war, etc.
Its not that they do anything illegal. Its that they are rude, immoral, and disrespectful religious zealots when their "Baptist" church isn't even a true ordained church. They're just a Southwest family that turned cult and try to justify their insanity by finding any means they can to get media attention. |

Censorship? The UK has no reason to address the concerns of foreign citizens. WBC are foreigners, and thus have no right of entry to the UK if they pose any threat.
This is OK.
Freedom of speech has limits. It just does. It always has.
"These pills cure cancer and do not in any way cause brain tumors" if a lie, will get you very arrested.
Speech causing harm to others, is not covered by freedom of speech. It just doesn't. Encouraging murder (or the committing of any crime) is not covered by freedom of speech.
Though talking about the repeal of laws that make them a crime is fine.
In this particular picture, she is doing nothing illegal that I can see, so it should be allowed to happen.
On the other hand if she was arrested for being a public nuisance, I'd be fine with that too. I'm also fine with a total ban on picketing funerals. |

The sign she's holding is vile, she herself is not. She probably doesn't even know what a "fag" is. I remember an interview or something and a reporter asked a kid from the WBC what a "fag" was, and the kid had no idea. He just rambled on that they were like, really bad, without giving a real answer. |

RIGHT? I think we should make it a point to go to a WBC members funeral holding signs about how much God hates THEM and see if they like how it feels. They'd probably get all self righteous and use it as a means to get themselves some media attention. |
