Wow Joey I would have kept quiet the fact that that's your field and you made the ridiculous claim that any one who studies today has to be better than someone who studied in the 18th/19th century sound even dumber...
Since you know physics and math you would know Nicola Tesla has patents and inventions that people today can't figure out or replicate.

I think we can all safely say that the U.S is rotting from the inside out, due to dumb kids like this who think the nation sucks because its "cool" to do so but wont actually pull their heads out of their asses long enough to think and decide for themselves.

Sonikku, Its the bigger picture that people are pissed about. The word fag isnt even insulting anymore. It's the principle of the fact that this wannabe church group (which has no real church)is brainwashing children to believe this country is all going to hell because we all break every rule the bible set forth. Saying that soldiers who fight for the US deserve to die and were struck down by God himself, or that gays eat feces, "fags" are anyone that does more than just regular ordinary missionary style sex on their marriage bed, etc. They spew propaganda and assault people who fight every day for the rights that they abuse every moment they can. |

My background is Physics/Maths, I'm about to finish a degree in Acoustics (for you that's physics and maths - not music!). Aiming for a first with Hons.
It's really obvious that 300 years later we will have a better understanding of studied theories, if it wasn't the case then we would have just been studying it for the past 300 years and not getting anywhere!
It's also really quite obvious that you are an uneducated fool who hasn't picked up a book since 'spot the dog'. Especially as you really have no clue what you're going on about.

My point was that the theory of gravity is undefined, as we define gravity at the moment it is unproven! Therefore gravity is a collaboration of theories that have yet to be proven. If you don't beleive me then again I suggest you read a book! |

@ Taylor stone I agree with that brainwashing your kids into hating people is wrong. There was an episode of that family swap shop with a extreme religious family swapping mom's with an extremely atheist family and it shows the effects. The atheist kids went bat poo insane when they were asked to read the bible like their eyes would melt and the religious kids cried when the atheist mom took down the religious item in the home. Both sets of kids acted abnormally IMO i think parents should let their own kids decide and not force feed them. |

Well, "Gravitational Theory" is our explanation of the phenomenon we know as 'gravity'.
It is a law of gravity that if you drop an object here, it will fall to the ground, but it is Gravitational Theory that explains how and why this occurs.
Gravity is a law, but we understand and explain it through a theory. It is both ; )
Let's leave it at that and I don't know your field of study but I'm seriously doubting it physics or anything down in applied math/ or science if you seriously think just because someone is doing it now is better than the inventor of it. He invented a math to allow not geniuses to apply mathematics to engineering how many of those did hawkins write?, and if you really want an argument to end the easiest way is to stop arguing. |
