Okay, so, does this legitimate article in a main stream publication mark the beginning of the end of relevance of 4chan? Are there other, more cutting edge, more influential sites now taking its once-vaulted place? I remember when reporters had to be blindfolded and almost feared death when they got an interview with him. With the mythos gone, what of 4chan's power? Is it waning? Please know I'm not challenging the monster! Just asking. |

Nidonemo - And as 4 chan is so large, the fact that you have one of the most powerful allies online, means you technically have access to the most powerfull ally offline too; considering just how much they've found out about people, and what they've done (for example, the guy who nearly killed the kitten); in some ways, I prefer them to the police. |

I wonder how he feels about creating the single most chaotic and unpredictable congregation of anonymous users in history.
I see 4-Chan like a chaotic undulating mass of potential energy that is self-aware. You cannot command it to do anything, and if you do, it almost always has a negative effect. You need to acknowledge that it does have power and respect it, whether you agree with the acts it does or not.
If it likes you, then you have one of the most powerful allies on the internet, for as long as it wants to be on your side.
If anything, it would be classified as a chaotic neutral. |

But I can't really say that was a good thing... I never watched any of her videos, though, so I don't know. |

This was a terrible interview. Anyone that actually wants to hear anything from Moot already knows he likes the site despite disagreeing with some things on it, has little to no control over the community, and makes no real money as its creator.
