"@Dainty

Actually, I think youtube was the first place she was posted at."

Yep, then some started linking to her in 'you rage you lose' threads on you-know-where. Then she popped up on IAB.

Okay, so, does this legitimate article in a main stream publication mark the beginning of the end of relevance of 4chan? Are there other, more cutting edge, more influential sites now taking its once-vaulted place? I remember when reporters had to be blindfolded and almost feared death when they got an interview with him. With the mythos gone, what of 4chan's power? Is it waning? Please know I'm not challenging the monster! Just asking.

For future reference Evil Eye, almost every ED page has extremely graphic images and as such is inappropriate here.

"and what they've done (for example, the guy who nearly killed the kitten)"

Kenny Glenn? Bahaha that was awesome. And whoever sent the hearse and coffin (unless it was just the coffin, don't remember) to his house should get a trophy or something. Creative.

Nidonemo - And as 4 chan is so large, the fact that you have one of the most powerful allies online, means you technically have access to the most powerfull ally offline too; considering just how much they've found out about people, and what they've done (for example, the guy who nearly killed the kitten); in some ways, I prefer them to the police.

I wonder how he feels about creating the single most chaotic and unpredictable congregation of anonymous users in history.

I see 4-Chan like a chaotic undulating mass of potential energy that is self-aware. You cannot command it to do anything, and if you do, it almost always has a negative effect. You need to acknowledge that it does have power and respect it, whether you agree with the acts it does or not.

If it likes you, then you have one of the most powerful allies on the internet, for as long as it wants to be on your side.

If anything, it would be classified as a chaotic neutral.

"Actually, I think youtube was the first place she was posted at."

Well yeah, haha, but I-A-B was the first site to post her video elsewhere.

@tedgp

Wrong. Let me fix that for you...

4chan [is always] good or interesting. it [is] a place where idiots and morons [go] to feel cool and special, when in reality all they [are are] poor unfortunate immature humans. [But it's also a place where extremely funny things happen occasionally, and if you're tough enough to wade though the poo generated by the aforementioned idiots and morons, then you might just find those funny things.]

In short, /b/tards that care about Moot know this stuff, other people that don't know don't really want to.

^

This. That was a completely pointless interview.

"someone needs to start a meme on this site."

Almighty Bob is right, I-A-B started the whole Boxxy thing. It was the first place she was posted at, and everything/where else followed suit.

But I can't really say that was a good thing... I never watched any of her videos, though, so I don't know.

This was a terrible interview. Anyone that actually wants to hear anything from Moot already knows he likes the site despite disagreeing with some things on it, has little to no control over the community, and makes no real money as its creator.

In short, /b/tards that care about Moot know this stuff, other people that don't know don't really want to.

"How come no one interview us?"

because we arn't the start of anything, we just post things seen in other places, nor do we cause controversy or are nearly as big

the man who made child porn so easily accessible, hmm, he doesnt look like a 40 year old hairy man in a trench-coat.

You know how it is, you pat yourself on the back for scaring away the person who looks like Mr. Stranger Danger, but you figure out it's the babysitter...*rolls eyes*
