Sunday, March 21, 2010 6:19:17 PM The only problem I ever had with the N64 controller was trying to get the cheat menu on Shadows of the Empire. That was a major pain when no one would help! But it could be done by only one person. |

Friday, March 19, 2010 2:31:58 PM with a little tinkering the 64 controller serves as a smoking pipe better than it ever did as a gaming controller |

Friday, March 19, 2010 1:44:12 PM The N64 one was certainly the most un-ergonomic device ever. |

Friday, March 19, 2010 12:43:01 PM N64=alien technology that was never intended for the human public. i think it was secretly made for a hybrid gamer alien breed that has 2.5 hands |

Friday, March 19, 2010 8:18:08 AM "The Snes cotroller is, by far, the best. Simple and comfortable." almost...the NES Bone was the simplest and matched the SNES's comfort level

Friday, March 19, 2010 7:22:45 AM "Nintendo officially exhausts the limits of button cramming technology"...by creating a controller with 2 buttons fewer than the previous incarnation? In fact the gamecube controller had 2 fewer buttons than the original playstation controller (discounting joysticks, D-pad = 4 buttons), it just had an odd layout. And to be honest, I prefer the gamecube one to any of the others, those weird hyperbolic paraboloid shoulder buttons were pretty good, though I'm not sure I ever used the D-pad, and rarely the C-stick. |

Friday, March 19, 2010 6:57:46 AM I think the N64 controller was great for FPS games second only to a mouse. The Gamecube has got to be one of the most hideous looking controlers ever except PS3s upcoming motion controler. As for motion controlers taking over I doubt it I personally hate them and find that most people who love them have never played games much before and find pushing buttons difficult. That and the games the use them usually suck.

Friday, March 19, 2010 3:57:12 AM <quote>The first SNES Controllers has the purple/lilac and grey color scheme, later releases had the colored buttons.</quote> Actually the colored controllers were mainly released to europe. The purple and grey were the famicom design which was more prevalent in japan and usa. |
