ladyweasal oarfish tend to only surface when they are dying or there is severe seismic activity in the area, them surfacing now could indicate that alot more tsunami triggering earthquakes may be soon to strike on the lower shelves of the ocean, an earthquake that would be devestating to such ocean lying areas |

this is an average sized oarfish...I love how peopls shout FAKE wheneve they see something they have never seen before that looks amazing...small minded people shout FAKE when instead they should GOOGLE to find out if it is possible or not. thanks morons, but the rest of us are able to figure out if something is fake or not w/o your help, so feel free to take a break. |

Actually, oarfish can get to be 17 METERS long, not feet long. This photo is not even a picture of a particularly large one. Google it, you'll see some really impressive photos of some of these fish, which are the largest boney fish in the ocean. |
