bumbleBB: I drank gatorade because without my tonsils everything i attempted to drink came out my nose. Gatorade, unlike water, has salt in it which actually reduces the burn when it comes out the nose.Boadicea: haha. you're right. I was very sick, sad, and vomit-y. |

My throat looks like a massacre after the tonsillectomy. My tonsils were so swollen they touched my uvula. I think my surgeon got knife happy and almost whacked the whole thing off. Its just a nubbin now.  I do have pre and post tonsillectomy photos though. They are gross. |
