"it looks to me like they just ripped off google maps"

"This just proves to me that Microsoft also has unique, interesting and viable new ideas. Apple just has better marketing."

-_- TED isn't about the marketing. The whole point of this was to show off the NEW EFFING AWESOME technology, augmented reality. All the companies are gonna buy it and do whatever they want with it.
Rayban should buy it and put in in there glasses so we can really play Pokemon.

Pretty cool. I'll give it a try as soon as I get a 128Mbit Internet connection to download all the maps and pictures fast enough to make it work like it did there.

Ok I have no idea how to view inside the Pike Place Market at seattle... it just zooms in on the image but doesn't go in. Watched the point where he went inside over and over but I couldn't make out what he did!

Just like Microsoft to release something cool with 8-bit definition.

Wow. Horrible for privacy, but amazing in terms of what they can do. I will have lots of fun with this.

Didn't they do a video they had an entire library on one screen and they zoomed into the books and kept zooming all the way until you could see the actual pages?
