Sunday, March 07, 2010 6:59:53 AM I'm just going to put it out here plain and simple to eliminate confusion: Loony Toons way back when often spoofed pop culture and history serving as commentary and really wasn't for kids. The running gag "I vant to be alone" was a nod to Gretta Garbo, Bugs Bunny loved pretending to be Groucho Marx, they even spliced footage of Hitler in a Daffy Duck cartoon, and they loved running Of Mice and Men gags. Of Mice and Men came first, the stuff from cartoons is satire. |

Sunday, March 07, 2010 2:22:40 AM "@fancylad: The fact that you're trying to make a cheap joke about classic American literature is making me sad." I think it's a crack at looney tunes too - either that or they were making a joke of Of Mice and Men too |

Saturday, March 06, 2010 7:33:55 PM "Dont you dare take that out of the package young man!"It's that kind of mentality that kept me from enjoying action figures as a kid. D: I got so anxious about wanting to play with them and then I kept hearing "Nooooo collector's itemmmm!" that I never bought them. :( |

Saturday, March 06, 2010 5:47:34 PM By the look of the rest of his house, I'm guessing he has one good looking room spoiled with these "action figures". They're dolls. Get over it, and get a girlfriend. |
